Womens Combat Boots: Now what says tough, butt kicking woman and military experience?  Womens combat boots that’s what.  Face it, be honest if you see a woman wearing these boots you know she has been trained to fight the bad.  Cops and soldiers are issued these when they join their respective services but they hang on to them because of the sturdy construction from the reinforced toes, extra strong soles, and insoles developed to be worn for days at a time if necessary.  The trend caught on to others as well going for the gothic and punk/rock look.  Younger women and teenage girls are putting them with tattered clothing of black and red, pins of all types, Mohawks, and colored hair, these boots are not just for the armed forces anymore.

Even after people retire from the military they are still wearing them to perform duties in the yard, hiking, and just because.  These boots are actually lightweight for soldiers to be quick on their feet but also protective in the winter, camping in the woods, and hunting.  Some women do all of these activities and their trusty combat boots are there for the feet the whole day.  Some women have even worn them with evening gowns to make a bold statement ever since Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, and Sandra Bullock in Miss Congeniality. 

Dr. Marten has caught on to this fashion change and makes them more comfortable in all colors with funky flair, gothic, neon, simple, strong for outdoor wear, white leather, patterns, and some with heels, these shoes are taking off.  Steve Madden keeps in tone with the trend and then adds some height so they ride just below the knee and a slimmer fit so they aren’t as bulky but still resemble the original footwear tough women wore years ago in the field to fight the bad boys.
